The TRR8 was developed in response to SWAT shield operators who needed a revolver adaptable to modern accessories. Dual removable rails allow quick configuration changes without permanent alteration to the firearm.
The scandium-alloy frame keeps weight to roughly 35 ounces, while the stainless-steel, two-piece 5" barrel with recessed crown delivers durability and accuracy. A black matte finish on both frame and unfluted stainless cylinder provides a uniform, non-reflective appearance.
Performance Center tuning is evident in the smooth double-action pull, crisp single-action break, and adjustable over-travel stop. Chamfered charge holes and a ball-detent front lock-up contribute to fast, reliable reloading.
A pinned gold-bead front sight pairs with an adjustable micrometer rear sight for precise aiming when rails are removed. The Hogue rubber finger-groove grip offers secure handling and recoil control.
