This discontinued Rosewood Laser variant of the SIG Sauer P238 pairs a black Nitron-finished slide with double-diamond rosewood grips and a factory-installed red laser module. Built on the micro 1911 platform, it delivers a true single-action trigger, locked-breech operation, and full-metal construction in a pocket-sized .380 ACP package.

The P238 Nitron Rosewood Laser was produced in Exeter, New Hampshire between 2012 and 2014 and is no longer offered by SIG, making this example increasingly hard to find in very good condition.
Its 2.7-inch stainless slide wears SIG’s durable black Nitron finish and features rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation. Tritium SigLite night sights provide a clear sight picture in low light.
The hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy frame keeps weight down while maintaining strength. Checkered rosewood grip panels with inset SIG medallions offer a secure, classic feel and house the removable red laser, which activates via an ambidextrous switch ahead of the trigger guard.
Internally, the P238 uses a locked-breech system unusual for micro .380 pistols, reducing felt recoil and improving reliability. The single-action only trigger, skeletonized hammer, and manual thumb safety mirror the familiar 1911 manual of arms.
Three magazines—two flush and one extended—give the shooter a choice between maximum concealability or an enhanced grip. The matching serialized case and included SIG holster round out a ready-to-carry package.
