The 4.6-inch steel barrel is precision-machined by Walther and nitrided inside and out for corrosion resistance. The polygonal rifling maximizes gas seal and barrel life.
Walther partnered with Parker Mountain Machine to outfit the PDP Pro-X with an aluminum magwell and extended magazine basepads. These components speed reloads and raise on-board capacity while maintaining compatibility with standard PDP magazines.
The slide features aggressive SuperTerrain serrations front and rear for confident manipulation, plus a factory optics-cut that accepts multiple red-dot footprints using the included adapter plate. Fiber-optic iron sights (red front, serrated rear) provide a bright, unobstructed sight picture when a dot is not installed.
Inside, the skeletonized aluminum Dynamic Performance Trigger breaks at roughly 4.5 pounds with a short, tactile reset, delivering a competition-grade pull in a duty-ready platform. A reversible push-button magazine release and fully ambidextrous slide stops accommodate left- and right-hand shooters.
The full-size glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame wears Walther’s Performance Duty Texture for a secure grip under recoil, while an integral accessory rail supports lights or lasers. Backstraps swap easily to fine-tune reach to the trigger.
