Diamondback machines the DB15’s upper and lower from 7075-T6 aluminum and protects them with a black hard-coat anodized finish. Matching laser-etched markings and a QR code on the lower confirm its factory provenance.
The 7-inch heavy-profile barrel is made from 4150 CrMoV steel, treated with a black nitride finish for corrosion resistance, and threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle devices or suppressors. A multi-prong flash hider is installed at the factory.
A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard covers the pistol-length gas system and offers a full-length Picatinny top rail for optics or irons. Additional M-LOK slots run along the sides and bottom for lights, grips, or accessories.
Standard AR controls include a single-stage trigger, Mil-Spec mag release, and charging handle. A foam-sleeved pistol buffer tube completes the compact layout while keeping the firearm brace-ready if the buyer chooses to add one.
Chambered for 5.56 NATO (.223 Rem.), the DB15 feeds from standard AR magazines and ships with a 30-round Magpul PMAG. A 1:8 RH twist stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights, making this pistol versatile for range work or defensive roles.
