Hand-built in Berryville, Arkansas under Nighthawk’s “One Gun, One Gunsmith” philosophy, this GRP T IOS pairs the proven 1911 platform with a fast-swap Interchangeable Optic System. A National Match stainless barrel, duty-grade nitride finish, and Trijicon night sights give this pistol the performance pedigree collectors and serious shooters expect from Nighthawk Custom.

The GRP—short for “Global Response Pistol”—is Nighthawk’s flagship duty model. This example is the T IOS variant, factory-cut for Nighthawk’s Interchangeable Optic System, allowing the shooter to swap between the included iron sight plate and popular micro-red-dot footprints without gunsmithing.
A 5-inch, match-grade stainless barrel is hand-fitted, crowned, and marked “NHC 45 NM.” Combined with the crisp 3.5-pound aluminum trigger, it delivers the accuracy reflected on the accompanying one-hole test target.
Both slide and frame are forged carbon steel finished in matte black nitride for corrosion resistance and low glare. Front and rear cocking serrations, an extended single-side thumb safety, and a skeletonized commander hammer round out the slide group.
Ergonomics are enhanced by black/gray G10 “Gator Back” grips bearing Nighthawk medallions, while a Trijicon tritium front blade and dovetail rear night sight provide a bright, duty-ready sight picture.
