This limited-run Ultra Featherlight variant of the Ithaca Model 37 combines the model’s classic bottom-eject design with an aluminum alloy receiver that keeps overall weight under six pounds. Factory scroll engraving of flying ducks, a roto-forged 28-inch vent-rib barrel, and a slam-fire capable trigger make this 20 gauge both collectible and highly functional.

The Ultra Featherlight series was produced from 1978 to 1987 and is notable for its aluminum alloy receiver, which delivers strength while trimming weight for fast handling in the field.
This example features factory waterfowl scene engraving on both sides of the receiver, adding visual appeal without sacrificing the matte black anodized finish that resists glare.
The 28-inch steel barrel is roto-forged for uniformity, sports a vent rib for quick sight alignment, and is chambered for 2 3/4-inch shells with a fixed Modified choke—ideal for longer-range upland or waterfowl work.
Ithaca’s bottom-ejection system and twin action bars provide smooth, reliable cycling and true ambidextrous use. The slam-fire capable trigger allows continuous firing with the pump held rearward.
Well-figured walnut furniture includes a checkered pistol-grip stock with 13-inch length of pull and a matching corn-cob forend, giving the gun classic lines and a secure grip.
