The Shadow 2 Compact packs the competition-bred accuracy and low bore axis of CZ’s full-size Shadow line into the series’ first lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum frame. Released internationally in 2023 and brought to the U.S. in 2024, this optics-ready variant delivers a shorter 4-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel, an MRD interface that sits lower than previous CZ plates, and duty-sized rail space—all in a carry-friendly profile.

The aluminum frame makes this the lightest member of the Shadow 2 family while preserving the slide-in-frame design that keeps the bore axis exceptionally low for fast follow-up shots.
An optics-ready cut accepts micro red dots without an added plate, positioning the sight lower for a more natural sight picture. Front and rear serrations aid positive manipulation even with an optic installed.
The cold-hammer-forged 4-inch barrel and adjustable rear sight provide competition-level accuracy in a compact format. A red fiber-optic front sight stands out in varied lighting.
The DA/SA action features a curved, skeletonized trigger with a short reset, paired with a skeletonized combat hammer for a crisp break. Ambidextrous manual safeties, a hammer safety notch, and a firing-pin block add layered security.
A full-length accessory rail under the extended dust cover accommodates duty-size weapon lights, giving this compact plenty of versatility for defensive or duty roles.
