The BDS9 is Nighthawk Custom’s first production double-stack 1911, hand-built under the One Gun, One Gunsmith philosophy. This full-size pistol blends a 17-round steel frame with the brand’s IOS optic system, a tri-cut Boardroom slide, and an ultra-durable silver finish. Every detail is engineered for speed, accuracy, and seamless optic integration while retaining the fit and feel Nighthawk is known for.
Condition
Overall Condition: As-new condition with no signs of prior handling beyond what’s typical from inspection (see photos).
Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling – Sharp lands and grooves.
This pistol is in near pristine condition and appears to have only experienced the factory test fire.

The BDS9 introduces Nighthawk’s double-stack architecture, pairing a machined steel frame with a fully machined aluminum grip module. The result is a 17+1 capacity 1911 that maintains the crisp single-action trigger pull and natural pointability of its single-stack heritage.
Nighthawk’s IOS system allows tool-less swaps between the standard iron sight plate and the included SRO optic plate without losing zero. Combined with the flared Taran Tactical-pattern magwell, the system speeds reloads and sight acquisition for competition or defensive use.
The tri-cut Boardroom slide features lightening ports and polished flats, reducing reciprocating mass while showcasing the hard two-tone silver/black finish. Forward and rear cocking serrations offer positive purchase from any angle.
A 4.8" flush-cut, crowned, match-grade bull barrel is hand-fit to the frame and slide for optimal lock-up and accuracy. The flat-faced, serrated trigger breaks consistently, and a skeletonized ring hammer speeds lock time.
Aggressive hex-dot texturing on the black anodized aluminum grip module ensures a sure hold without tearing up hands or gear. Thumb and grip safeties, an accessory rail, and red fiber-optic/Heinie Ledge sights round out a package purpose-built for top-tier performance.
