Gen5 upgrades start with the Glock Marksman Barrel: a 4.49 inch, polygonally rifled tube engineered for tighter groups and coated with a durable nDLC layer. Combined with the matching nDLC-finished slide, the system resists corrosion and wear under hard use.
The pistol features an ambidextrous slide-stop lever and a reversible, enlarged magazine release, allowing efficient operation by right- or left-handed shooters. The flared magazine well speeds reloads, while the absence of finger grooves creates a flatter, more universal grip profile.
A rugged polymer frame with pebble-textured grip panels balances recoil and maintains traction in adverse conditions. Fixed polymer sights—white-dot front and white U-notch rear—provide a simple, snag-free sight picture consistent with Glock duty pistols worldwide.
