What’s Included
- Remington Model 887 Nitro Mag 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun
- 28" vent-rib barrel with threaded muzzle and Modified choke installed
The ArmorLokt polymer overmold completely seals the steel barrel and receiver, forming a full-surface barrier against moisture and abrasion. Underneath, a hammer-forged steel barrel and steel receiver core ensure strength where it counts.
A rotating, nine-lug bolt gives the 887 a solid lock-up that differs from the traditional Model 870, allowing safe use of 2 ¾", 3", and 3 ½" shells. Twin action bars keep the stroke smooth, while a large triangular action-lock release speeds unloading and clearing.
The 28-inch vent-rib barrel provides a long sighting plane capped by a Hi-Viz LitePipe front bead and mid-rib bead. The threaded muzzle accepts Rem Choke tubes; a Modified choke is installed.
Discontinued in 2015 after a six-year production run, the Model 887 offers a distinctive blend of modern materials and proven Remington pump reliability in a package built for demanding magnum loads.
