The KDS9c Rail pairs a 7075-T6 aluminum frame with Kimber’s KimPro Gray/Black finish, keeping weight to just 28 oz while adding durability. An integrated cross-hatch grip texture is machined directly into the frame, providing positive purchase without aftermarket panels.
A fully fluted, match-grade 4.09 in. stainless-steel barrel uses a bushing-less design and a flush crown for consistent lock-up. Left-hand 1:10 twist rifling maximizes accuracy with modern 9 mm loads.
The optics-ready slide wears Kimber’s KimPro Black finish and includes both forward and rear cocking serrations. Factory-installed tritium night sights offer a clear three-dot picture; the slide accepts multiple footprint adapter plates for mini-red-dot compatibility.
Controls are set up for versatility: ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, and a reversible magazine release accommodate left- or right-handed shooters. A flat-faced, lightened trigger and skeletonized hammer deliver a crisp single-action break.
Made in Troy, Alabama, USA, the KDS9c Rail combines modern capacity and features with the proven 1911 platform, giving shooters an American-built defensive pistol that is ready for optics, lights, and demanding daily carry.
