The AXG Combat is part of a short-run series launched in October 2022 by SIG Sauer Custom Works. Each pistol features the metal AXG Carry grip module with interchangeable tan panels and an extended, black-anodized magwell for faster reloads.
Its carbon-steel barrel measures 4.6 inches and is threaded 1/2-28 UNEF with a knurled protector, ready for suppressors or compensators. Suppressor-height tritium sights co-witness through most slide-mounted optics.
The black Nitron PRO-cut slide includes front and rear serrations and accepts SIG ROMEO1PRO, SIG Romeo2, Trijicon RMR, and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprints without additional plates, giving users wide latitude in optic selection.
A flat-faced, skeletonized trigger, reversible magazine release, and ambidextrous slide-catch levers provide an intuitive, ergonomic control layout for left- or right-hand shooters. The integral M1913 rail accommodates weapon lights or lasers.
