Sig Sauer’s MCX SPEAR is the civilian counterpart to the U.S. Army’s XM7, delivering a rugged 7.62 NATO platform with quick-change barrel capability, dual non-reciprocating charging handles, and a suppressor-ready adjustable gas system. Finished in Coyote anodizing with matching B5 Systems Bravo stock, this example shows minimal use and retains its factory Dead Air KeyMo flash hider and ambidextrous controls.
It is factory-equipped with a Geissele two-stage trigger for a refined, crisp break.

The MCX SPEAR’s short-stroke gas piston action runs clean and cool, aided by a 2-position gas block optimized for suppressed fire. Dual non-reciprocating side charging handles, plus a rear charging handle, give the shooter flexible, ambidextrous manipulation without disturbing a cheek weld.
Its 16-inch cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel is DLC coated for durability and threaded 5/8-24 to accept the included KeyMo flash hider or other muzzle devices. A 1:10 twist stabilizes a wide range of 7.62×51 projectiles, while SR-25/AR-10 magazine compatibility simplifies logistics.
The free-float 12-inch alloy M-LOK handguard and full-length Picatinny top rail provide ample mounting space for optics, lights, and accessories. Integrated QD sling sockets and Mag Release, Bolt Catch, and Safety that are ambidextrous round out a truly modern battle rifle layout.
Built on 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a matching Coyote anodized finish, this SPEAR features Sig’s two-stage Matchlite Duo trigger and a 6-position, length-of-pull-adjustable stock measuring 13 inches at the mid setting. The result is a controllable, adaptable rifle ready for duty, competition, or collection.
