This GL-15 from Great Lakes Firearms is a factory-built, full-size AR-15 that pairs a 16 in. heavy HBAR profile barrel with a carbine-length direct-impingement system. Chambered in .223 Wylde, it safely fires both .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO, giving you flexibility at the range or in the field. A durable olive-drab/charcoal green Cerakote finish, applied by GLFA’s in-house robotic process, protects the 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and 15.25 in. free-float M-LOK handguard.
The rifle arrives fully outfitted with flip-up sights, a Streamlight ProTac weapon light, and other quality accessories—ready to shoot right out of the box.

The .223 Wylde chamber allows you to run both .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO ammunition without sacrificing accuracy or pressure safety. A 1:8 twist rate balances lightweight varmint loads and heavier match bullets, and the heavy HBAR contour promotes consistent groups during extended strings of fire.
The 16 in. barrel is machined from 4150 CrMoV or 416R stainless steel, threaded 1/2x28, and topped with GLFA’s 6-degree-forward multi-port muzzle brake to help tame recoil and muzzle rise. A low-profile gas block feeds a carbine-length system for reliable cycling.
GLFA applies an even, wear-resistant olive-drab/charcoal green Cerakote to both upper and lower receivers, matching the 15.25 in. 6061-T6 aluminum free-float handguard. The handguard offers full-length top Picatinny, M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, and an integral QD socket for fast sling attachment.
A 6-position adjustable polymer stock, mil-spec trigger group, and textured black furniture keep controls familiar. The Streamlight ProTac weapon light, Magpul RVG foregrip, and flip-up sights give the rifle turnkey functionality for low-light use and rapid target engagement.
