This Spike's Tactical ST-15 combines the company’s forged 7075-T6 receiver set with a carefully selected suite of aftermarket upgrades. A free-float FDE quad-rail, FAB Defense GL-MAG stock with built-in spare-mag well, and Hogue rubber over-molded grip give the rifle a distinctive look and enhanced handling. The 16-inch chrome-lined CMV barrel is threaded 1/2-28 and capped with an A2 flash hider, keeping it ready for muzzle-device swaps. Overall, it offers reliable Spike’s build quality paired with practical, user-focused enhancements.

The forged lower receiver is marked “MOD ST15” and features Spike’s bullet-pictogram selector, maintaining factory authenticity while supporting multi-caliber use. Serial number prefix “PD” denotes a post-2008 production run from Spike’s Apopka, Florida facility.
The rifle’s custom FDE 6061-T6 aluminum quad-rail handguard is free-floating, improving barrel harmonics and providing ample M1913 rail space for optics, lights, and accessories. Laser-engraved T-index marks on the flat-top upper simplify repeatable optic placement.
Functional upgrades include a Phase 5-style extended bolt-release paddle for quicker lock-back manipulation and a skeletonized angled forward grip that aids control without adding unwanted weight.
The 16" chrome-lined CMV steel barrel sports a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem projectiles. Direct-impingement operation keeps weight down and parts compatibility high.
A FAB Defense GL-MAG collapsible buttstock adds length-of-pull adjustability and holds an extra magazine in an integral well—handy for fast reloads or storage.
