What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 460 XVR revolver
Built by the Performance Center, this XVR receives a hand-tuned action, a smooth chrome trigger with an adjustable trigger stop, and an exposed hammer for precise single-action work. The double-action pull remains consistent thanks to Performance Center fitting.
The 7.5-inch slab-sided stainless barrel features gain-twist rifling that begins slow and tightens toward the muzzle, optimizing accuracy with heavy .460 S&W Magnum projectiles. A factory-installed muzzle brake tames recoil and reduces muzzle rise.
An integral Picatinny rail cut into the barrel’s rib allows quick attachment of optics or accessories. For iron-sight use, the revolver ships with a bright green fiber-optic front sight paired to a black, screw-adjustable rear sight, giving a clear sight picture in varied light.
The five-shot stainless cylinder and X-Frame construction handle the high pressures of the .460 S&W Magnum while keeping weight manageable. A black rubber finger-groove grip improves control and absorbs recoil, making the revolver practical for handgun hunting and long-range target work.
This XL-frame revolver carries an MSRP of $2,009 and represents a collectible example of Performance Center engineering combined with the power of the .460 S&W Magnum.
