What’s Included
- New England Firearms Pardner Model SB1 single-shot shotgun
The 27.5-inch steel barrel is blued and paired with a brass bead front sight, giving a clear sight picture and durable exterior finish. Its fixed Modified choke offers a versatile spread suitable for upland game and general field work.
The steel receiver is color-case-hardened for a classic look and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, allowing easy optics installation without gunsmithing. A side-lever unlocks the break-open action for quick loading and unloading.
Weighing approximately 5–6 lbs with a 14-inch length of pull, this SB1 balances nimble handling with enough heft to manage 12 gauge recoil. The straight-comb, pistol-grip hardwood stock in a walnut finish adds traditional styling and solid shoulder fit.
An external hammer combined with a transfer-bar safety system provides simple, reliable ignition while preventing the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is fully depressed. The single-shot design keeps operation straightforward and maintenance minimal.
Marked with an "NJ" serial prefix, this SB1 was produced in NEF’s Gardner facility before production ended in 2008, making it a practical choice for shooters who appreciate a no-nonsense American-made shotgun.
