The Defender Series TB is a direct descendant of the MAC-10 pattern but employs a closed-bolt blowback action for improved consistency and accuracy. The 5.3 in barrel is threaded 1/2-28 TPI and ready for suppressor or muzzle device installation; the included shroud protects the threads and matches the pistol’s compact aesthetic.
An aluminum lower receiver trims roughly nine ounces compared to earlier all-steel builds, dropping the unloaded weight to about 55 oz while retaining a durable steel upper. The black Cerakote finish on both frame and receiver offers corrosion resistance and a uniform, tactical appearance.
Controls are intuitive: a top-mounted charging handle keeps hands clear of accessory rails, and a manual lever selector pairs with an internal inertial firing-pin block for layered safety. Adjustable front and rear iron sights allow fine-tuning, and a built-in QD sling cup plus a rear grip-frame interface accept braces or stocks where permitted.
