This Century Arms R1A1 Sporter is a U.S.–built, FN FAL-pattern rifle chambered in .308 Win. It combines a proven short-stroke gas system with a hybrid inch/metric parts configuration, making it compatible with a wide range of FAL components. An aftermarket Picatinny-railed top cover is already installed, giving the rifle out-of-the-box optics flexibility, while the 21-inch threaded barrel wears a three-port muzzle brake for controlled recoil.

The fixed black polymer stock delivers a 14.5-inch length of pull, and a matching tubular handguard offers a comfortable forward grip. Both pieces are durable and lightweight, complementing the carbon-steel receiver’s gray phosphate finish.
A three-port muzzle brake is threaded to the 21-inch barrel, reducing muzzle rise and ready to accept other 5⁄8-24 accessories. Standard protected post front and folding aperture rear sights provide reliable back-up aiming, and the included railed top cover lets shooters mount optics without additional parts.
