The Savage Model 212 AccuFit is a purpose-built 12-gauge bolt-action slug gun engineered for shotgun-only big-game zones. Built on the proven Model 110 action, it pairs a button-rifled 22" heavy-contour barrel with Savage’s AccuStock aluminum bedding chassis and user-adjustable AccuTrigger. The result is a rifled shotgun that offers rifle-like accuracy with modern saboted slugs while allowing easy fit adjustments through the AccuFit stock system.

The bolt-action design eliminates the need for gas ports, keeping the 22" carbon-steel barrel free of fouling and maximizing velocity from both 2 ¾" and 3" slugs. The fully rifled, 1:35" RH twist barrel is optimized for saboted projectiles, giving hunters reliable accuracy at extended shotgun ranges.
Savage’s AccuStock system clamps the action into an internal aluminum chassis, providing consistent bedding without aftermarket work. Combined with the user-tunable AccuTrigger and tang-mounted safety, shooters can tailor both trigger pull and handling to their preference.
The black synthetic AccuFit stock ships with interchangeable LOP spacers and comb inserts, allowing quick fit adjustments for different body types, optics heights, or heavy winter clothing. Integral sling studs and a soft recoil pad add field convenience and comfort.
A matte-blued carbon-steel receiver is drilled and tapped, and the factory scope bases are already installed, so mounting a dedicated slug optic is straightforward. The detachable box magazine offers a 2+1 capacity for quick reloads while meeting many state regulations.
