Ruger LC9 9mm Compact DAO Pistol – Early 2012 Prescott AZ First-Gen Model 03200, Blued, 3 Mags
This first-generation Ruger LC9 comes from the initial 2012 Prescott, Arizona production run that launched the line. Model 03200 features the original hammer-fired, double-action-only system with a pivoting loaded-chamber indicator and internal key lock—features later dropped when Ruger moved to the striker-fired LC9s/EC9s series. Compact dimensions, a 3.12-inch barrel, and a light 17.1-oz unloaded weight make it a practical carry choice, while its discontinued status and complete accessory set add collector appeal.

Produced in 2012 at Ruger’s Prescott, Arizona facility, this pistol represents the earliest LC9 configuration. Ruger soon transitioned to the striker-fired LC9s/EC9s, making the original hammer-fired LC9 increasingly scarce.
The alloy-steel slide wears a durable blued finish and carries dovetailed three-dot sights. A pivoting loaded-chamber indicator gives quick visual and tactile confirmation of status. The windage-adjustable rear sight is secured with a setscrew for repeatable zeroing.
A glass-filled nylon frame keeps weight low and resists corrosion. Ergonomics include an integrated finger groove and checkered panels for secure purchase during recoil.
Safety is comprehensive: a left-side manual thumb safety, magazine disconnect, internal lock (key included in original packaging), loaded-chamber indicator, and Ruger’s trigger safety cam provide layered mechanical safeguards without complicating operation.
The package is range-ready with three factory magazines, the original box, manual, a Ruger soft case, and a WRB pocket holster—extras that add convenience and value while preserving factory provenance.
