The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II offers a well-rounded AR-15 experience straight from the factory. Built on a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set with a 16-inch Armornite-finished barrel, this Sport II includes a threaded muzzle, A2 front sight, and Magpul MBUS rear. A factory-installed LimbSaver slip-on recoil pad adds comfort, while two 30-round Magpul PMAGs keep you range-ready.

This Sport II is built around Smith & Wesson’s forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers, both finished with a durable hard-coat anodizing. The upper carries T-marked Picatinny rail slots for consistent optic placement, and an integral forged trigger guard adds strength without extra parts.
The 16-inch 4140 steel barrel features Smith & Wesson’s Armornite treatment inside and out for corrosion resistance. It is threaded 1/2-28 for easy muzzle device changes and cut with a 1:9 twist to stabilize common 55- to 62-grain 5.56mm projectiles.
Sighting is handled by a classic A2 adjustable front post paired with the included Magpul MBUS folding rear, giving reliable iron sights out of the box. A chromed firing pin enhances reliability, while the bayonet lug and sling loop add functional versatility.
The six-position collapsible stock adapts to different shooters and lengths of pull, and the LimbSaver recoil pad provides added shoulder comfort during extended range sessions. An A2-pattern pistol grip and ribbed polymer handguard round out the familiar AR ergonomics.
With two 30-round Magpul PMAGs included, this rifle arrives ready for the range or duty stand-by, offering the proven M&P15 foundation with a few thoughtful upgrades already in place.
