Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 327 TRR8 .357 Mag Revolver – Scandium Frame, 5" Barrel, 8-Shot
The Performance Center TRR8 takes the proven Smith & Wesson N-frame and re-engineers it for modern duty and competition use. A scandium-alloy frame keeps weight to roughly 35 oz, while an eight-shot titanium cylinder provides impressive .357 Magnum firepower. Removable top and bottom Picatinny rails, a Performance Center–tuned action, and stainless slab-sided barrel with lightening slots make this limited-production revolver a versatile platform for optics, lights, or suppressor-ready shooting.

The scandium-alloy frame distinguishes the TRR8 from standard N-frames, trimming weight without sacrificing strength. Combined with the slab-sided stainless barrel and lightening slots, the revolver balances quickly and stays controllable during rapid fire.
Performance Center hand-fitting delivers a smooth double-action pull and crisp single-action break. The chrome-flashed trigger includes an over-travel stop, while the teardrop hammer offers positive cocking leverage.
An eight-shot titanium cylinder is cut for moon clips, allowing fast, reliable reloads. Chamfered charge holes speed insertion, and a ball-detent lock-up enhances alignment under recoil.
Factory-installed removable Picatinny rails let the shooter add optics up top or a weapon light below. When rails are removed, the revolver presents clean lines with its adjustable target rear sight and gold-bead Patridge front sight.
Introduced in 2006 and still produced in limited numbers, the Model 327 TRR8 remains a sought-after blend of lightweight materials, modern accessories, and classic revolver reliability.
