The OD Green anodized receivers were produced in far smaller numbers than Geissele’s standard color options, making this configuration noticeably less common on the secondary market. The forged 7075-T6 upper and lower are matched to a Nanoweapon-coated Reliability-Enhanced bolt-carrier group for extended service life and easier cleaning.
Its 16.25" 11595E CMV steel barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and cut with a 1:7 right-hand twist to stabilize the full range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. A Geissele-length mid gas system, double-pinned and gland-sealed gas block, and tapered barrel profile help maintain smooth cycling under hard use.
The pinned and welded Geissele three-prong flash hider brings the overall barrel length to a non-NFA-regulated dimension while preserving the 1/2-28 threaded muzzle for future device changes if desired.
Shooter interface benefits from Geissele’s SSA-E X two-stage trigger with Lightning Bow shoe (approx. 4 lb total pull), ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous safety selector, and an ambi bolt-catch. The 15" Mk16 Super Modular Rail provides M-LOK slots along its length for accessory mounting without adding unnecessary bulk.
