Canik METE MC9L 9mm Micro-Compact 17+1 Striker-Fired Pistol, Optic-Ready
The Canik METE MC9L delivers full-size firepower in a micro-compact footprint. A 3.18 in cold hammer-forged, nitride-treated barrel teams with a 17-round magazine to give concealed carriers and range shooters an unusually high capacity for the size. An optic-cut slide, flat-faced trigger, and aggressive grip texture round out a feature set that pushes this Turkish-made pistol to the front of the modern carry market.

Designed around the METE series architecture, the MC9L uses a glass-fiber–reinforced polymer frame with high-traction stippling that locks the hand in place without abrasion. The flat-faced trigger with integrated safety blade breaks cleanly, shortening both pre-travel and reset for faster follow-up shots.
The black-nitride slide arrives optics-ready from the factory, accepting RMSc-footprint red-dot sights without the need for adapter plates. Front and rear cocking serrations give positive purchase for press checks and slide manipulations, even with gloves.
A 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 rail under the dust cover supports compact weapon lights or lasers, extending the pistol’s versatility for defensive or duty roles. Fixed three-dot steel sights sit low enough to co-witness many micro-red-dot optics.
Despite its micro-compact dimensions and 22.22-ounce unloaded weight, the MC9L feeds reliably from double-stack METE and TP9 magazines—including extended 20-round options—giving the shooter a capacity edge while maintaining a slim profile for concealed carry.
