At the heart of the pistol is Smith & Wesson’s TEMPO delayed-blowback gas system. A gas port in the 4.5-inch stainless barrel momentarily slows slide movement, allowing full pressure burn-off for consistent velocity and cleaner cycling.
The slide wears a black Armornite finish, cut for RMSc-footprint micro-red-dot optics, and features front and rear directional serrations for solid purchase. Fiber-optic sights provide a bright aiming reference out of the box, and the rear sight is drift-adjustable for windage.
The polymer frame carries M2.0-style aggressive grip texture, an accessory rail for lights or lasers, and ambidextrous slide-stop levers. Internal safeties include a trigger safety lever, magazine disconnect, and hammer block, maintaining a sleek profile with no external thumb safety.
