The matched upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and coated in a uniform Flat Dark Earth Cerakote that resists wear and abrasion. T-numbered Picatinny rail sections on the flat-top upper make it easy to return optics and accessories to exact positions.
Spike’s chrome-lined, 4150 CMV steel barrel is cut in the traditional M4 profile, balances well, and uses a 1:7-inch right-hand twist to stabilize the full range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights. A standard 1/2x28 threaded muzzle is ready for flash hiders, brakes, or suppressors.
Internally, the rifle features a high-pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected bolt carrier group for added reliability, plus the ST-T2 tungsten buffer that helps smooth out recoil and reduce carrier bounce. The lower is a low-shelf design that is fully RDIAS-compatible for users with the proper paperwork.
Magpul MOE carbine-length handguard, MOE pistol grip, and a six-position collapsible stock provide familiar ergonomics and multiple sling options. An F-marked A2 front sight tower pairs with the included Magpul MBUS Gen-2 rear sight for dependable iron sights straight from the box.
