The 4.6-inch carbon-steel barrel is threaded 1/2-28 UNEF and finished with a target crown, ready for rimfire suppressors and muzzle devices. Tall fixed suppressor-height 3-dot sights co-witness through most micro red-dot optics once mounted on the slide’s factory-milled interface.
A single-action-only blowback system delivers a light, crisp trigger pull, while an external hammer allows for immediate visual and tactile confirmation of cocked status. Fully ambidextrous slide stop and manual thumb safety, plus a reversible magazine release, mirror the control layout of the centerfire FN 509 Tactical for seamless training crossover.
The glass-filled nylon frame features an integrated accessory rail for lights or lasers, and aggressive front and rear slide serrations support reliable manipulation with or without gloves. With 15+1 round capacity in the extended magazine and 10+1 in the flush-fit option, the FN 502 Tactical offers substantial firepower for a rimfire platform.
