The P220 SAS Carry Gen 2 SAO combines Sig Sauer’s proven .45 ACP platform with Custom Shop refinements that are no longer in production. Built on a German-made, non-railed alloy frame and finished with the SIG Anti-Snag melt treatment, this compact single-action pistol offers a crisp 4.4 lb SAO trigger, night sights, and an 8+1 capacity in a slim single-stack profile.

The SAS (Sig Anti-Snag) Carry Gen 2 is a Custom Shop variant designed for smooth draw and snag-free carry. All exterior edges and controls are rounded, and the slide wears a matte black Nitron finish resistant to wear and corrosion.
Its 3.9-inch match-grade stainless steel barrel is paired with an external-extractor slide that carries SIGLITE tritium night sights. Rear serrations allow positive slide manipulation even with the de-horn treatment.
The single-action-only trigger breaks cleanly at approximately 4.4 pounds, complemented by an ambidextrous thumb safety and Sig’s four-point internal safety system. There is no decocker, giving the pistol a 1911-style manual of arms in a lighter alloy-frame package.
German proof marks on the frame and the SIG SAUER INC., EXETER-NH import stamp confirm its German manufacture, a detail valued by many Sig enthusiasts and collectors.
