The Micro Sporting variant leaves the factory with a shortened stock, bringing the length of pull to 13.5". This dimension, paired with the soft-shooting Active Valve gas system and a Pachmayr Decelerator pad, makes the gun easy to mount and comfortable to shoot.
The 28" back-bored barrel reduces pellet deformation for denser patterns, while the ventilated rib and brass bead promote a quick, un-cluttered sight picture. Browning’s Invector-Plus system provides versatility; the gun ships with IC, Modified, and Full tubes for sporting clays or field work.
The receiver is machined from aluminum alloy and finished in matte silver anodizing, keeping weight down without sacrificing strength. Its semi-humpback profile pays homage to the legendary Auto-5 while offering modern balance.
A gold-plated trigger, cross-bolt safety, and crisp cut checkering on the gloss walnut stock underscore Browning’s attention to detail. Capacity is 4+1 with 2 3/4" shells, and the Active Valve system is tuned for the light sporting loads commonly used on the range.
