Taurus PT-25 .25 ACP Micro Semi-Auto Pistol - DAO Tip-Up Barrel, Matte Blued, 7+1
This discontinued Taurus PT-25 offers a compact, tip-up-barrel design that lets you load the chamber without manipulating the slide, making it practical for shooters who value simplicity. Built in Miami on a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame with a blued carbon-steel slide, it delivers classic pocket-pistol styling paired with double-strike DAO operation. Smooth hardwood grips with brass Taurus medallions complete the look, while a heel-type magazine release and frame-mounted safeties reflect its European-influenced design.

The PT-25’s tip-up barrel pivots open via a latch on the frame, allowing effortless chamber loading or unloading without racking the slide—a key advantage for shooters with limited hand strength.
An aluminum-alloy frame keeps weight to a minimum while maintaining durability. The matte-blued carbon-steel slide features rear serrations for positive grip, and fixed sights are machined directly into the slide for snag-free carry.
This model operates on a simple blowback system with double-action-only trigger and true double-strike capability, so you can pull the trigger again on a stubborn primer without racking the slide.
Safety is addressed with a frame-mounted thumb safety, a magazine disconnect safety, and an exposed hammer that provides visual and tactile confirmation of the pistol’s status.
Although production has ended, the PT-25 shares parts commonality with the still-popular PT-22, simplifying future maintenance for owners and collectors alike.
