Izhmash Saiga IZ132 Sporter 7.62x39 Pre-Ban Semi-Automatic Rifle, Fixed 30-Round Magazine, 16.25" Chrome-Lined Barrel
This Russian-made Saiga IZ132 Sporter stands out as a pre-July 2014 import, making it one of the last Saiga rifles to reach the U.S. before sanctions halted further shipments. Built at the Izhmash factory on AK-100-series tooling, it combines the rugged reliability of the AK platform with a factory sporter configuration and collectible pre-ban status.

The IZ132 Sporter is chambered in 7.62x39 and retains the proven long-stroke gas-piston action for which the AK lineage is known. Its 16.25" chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged barrel is unthreaded, giving the muzzle a clean profile and eliminating the need for a muzzle device.
Import marks from RWC Group LLC and the Izhmash ‘arrow-in-triangle’ logo confirm Russian origin. Additional proof stamps, including the PC mark and '13' in circle, match the 2013 production serial prefix and reinforce authenticity for collectors.
The matte-black stamped-steel receiver omits a side rail, maintaining the rifle’s original sporter aesthetic. A fixed Monte Carlo polymer stock, black polymer AK pistol grip, and ribbed polymer handguard deliver a balanced, lightweight feel with modern durability.
Sights are classic AK: a hooded post up front and an adjustable tangent-leaf notch at the rear. The factory 30-round steel magazine is permanently fixed; converting the rifle to accept detachable magazines would require professional gunsmith work, preserving its current compliance and rarity in original form.
