The USP45 Compact V1 in two-tone stainless and black is one of the scarcer variants of HK’s proven USP series, produced in limited numbers between 1998 and 2004. This German-made example combines a corrosion-resistant stainless slide with a fiber-reinforced polymer frame and the modular V1 control system, making it notable for both collectors and shooters who value durable construction, ambidextrous controls, and DA/SA versatility.

Stainless-slide USP Compacts were built in far fewer numbers than their standard finish counterparts, contributing to their collectibility. The slide is roll-marked “HKI-Columbus GA,” confirming German manufacture with U.S. import marking.
The 3.78-inch cold-hammer-forged Cr-Mo steel barrel uses HK’s polygonal rifling and is rated for a 20,000-round service life, offering extended longevity and easy maintenance. An integrated recoil-reduction buffer further lessens wear on internal parts.
Variant 1 configuration delivers a DA/SA trigger with an ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release and a left-side safety/decocker, allowing both cocked-and-locked and traditional DA carry. Additional safety features include a firing pin block and HK’s lock-out system.
Fixed three-dot sights, rear cocking serrations, and a proprietary USP Compact accessory rail round out the platform, while the bobbed external hammer minimizes snag potential for concealed carry.
