Dissident Arms KL-12 Elite VEPR-12 12 Ga Pre-Ban Semi-Auto Shotgun — Custom Competition Build, 19" Barrel, 10+1
Built on a scarce pre-ban Molot VEPR-12 receiver and upgraded by Dissident Arms to the KL-12 Elite standard, this 12-gauge shotgun offers a factory-hardened RPK-pattern action combined with purpose-built competition features. Extended controls, a 16" free-float M-LOK handguard, and a Phoenix-ONE muzzle brake give it fast handling, while a Cerakote finish protects the stamped-steel receiver now unavailable from Russia. For shooters who value proven race-gun performance on a hard-to-find platform, this KL-12 Elite stands out.

What’s Included
- Four 10-round polymer VEPR-12 magazines with bolt-hold-open followers, marked “VEPR-12 Made in the USA”
The heart of this shotgun is a 1.5 mm stamped RPK-pattern receiver with a fixed trunnion, providing the durability VEPR-12s are known for. Because it was imported before the 2017 sanctions, no further examples can enter the U.S. market, adding collectible scarcity to the package.
Dissident Arms transforms the base gun into the KL-12 Elite by adding a 16" MOD-2 free-float aluminum handguard that accepts M-LOK accessories along its full length. The left-side charging handle, extended ambidextrous magazine-release paddle, flared magwell, and race-style safety lever streamline reloads and manipulations under match conditions.
The 19" chrome-lined, threaded barrel is capped with a Phoenix-ONE multi-port brake that reduces recoil and muzzle rise, keeping rapid strings on target. An AR-pattern receiver extension hosts a six-position Magpul CTR stock and Hogue rubber grip, giving familiar ergonomics and adjustable length of pull.
Iron sights include a protected post front and graduated AK tangent rear, while the top cover accepts typical VEPR/AK optic mounts. The shotgun retains the VEPR-12 last-round bolt hold-open for quicker magazine changes.
Dissident Arms’ KL-12 series has earned multiple USPSA and IPSC Multigun titles, and this example carries that pedigree in a pre-ban, Russian-made receiver no longer obtainable new.
