What’s Included
- CVA Optima Magnum .50 caliber inline muzzleloader
The Optima Magnum’s break-open action uses an aluminum alloy frame with a black hard-coat anodized finish, keeping weight manageable while maintaining durability in the field.
Its 26-inch Bergara barrel, crafted from 416 stainless steel and finished in matte blue, delivers dependable accuracy with a 1:28 RH twist optimized for modern sabot and conical projectiles.
A hex-head removable breech plug predates CVA’s QRBP system yet still allows quick, tool-based removal for cleaning. Rated for magnum 150-grain powder loads, the rifle is built to handle high-energy hunting charges.
The ambidextrous Monte Carlo stock is molded from black synthetic polymer with integrated sling swivel studs, molded checkering for a positive grip, and a recoil pad to soften heavy loads.
A scope rail is factory-installed, and the external hammer includes a reversible spur for extra clearance when using optics. The rifle currently has a damaged front ramp sight and no rear sight, making the rail the primary sighting option.
