The SUB2000 Gen 3 folds in half by rotating the forend around the barrel, creating a compact 16.15-inch package that slips easily into a backpack or vehicle compartment. A new rotating lock clears mounted optics, so you can leave a red dot in place when stowing the carbine.
Kel-Tec’s straight-blowback action runs on widely available Glock 9mm double-stack magazines, giving you magazine commonality with many popular pistols. The included 15-round PMAG gets you on the range right away, and higher-capacity mags fit without modification.
The 16.15-inch carbon-steel barrel comes factory threaded 1/2-28 TPI for direct attachment of muzzle devices or a suppressor. Its matte black oxide finish matches the polymer M-LOK forend, which offers slots for accessory lights, lasers, or grips.
A three-position adjustable stock and aluminum 5-lb trigger help tailor the carbine to individual shooters. The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer receiver keeps weight down while maintaining rigidity, and a cross-bolt safety provides straightforward controls familiar to most shooters.
