Franchi LAW-12 12 Gauge Semi-Automatic Shotgun | Pre-Ban, Rare F.I.E. Import, 21.5" Barrel, 7+1
The Luigi Franchi LAW-12 is the semi-auto-only sibling of the SPAS-12, and fewer than 4,000 examples reached U.S. shores before the 1989 sporting-purpose import ban. This early F.I.E.-marked specimen offers collectors a scarce, pre-ban Italian shotgun with its original 21.5-inch chrome-moly barrel, threaded for the fixed Improved Cylinder choke and chambered for 2 3/4-inch shells. Its short-stroke gas system, two-piece piston, and integral pistol-grip stock preserve the LAW-12’s distinctive tactical profile.

What’s Included
- Franchi LAW-12 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun
Imported before the 1989 restriction, this LAW-12 retains its original matte-phosphate steel receiver with the F.I.E. Corp. Miami FL import stamp. The factory 7-round tubular magazine plus one in the chamber delivers 7+1 capacity without the later limiter requirements.
The 21.5-inch chrome-moly barrel is threaded and sports a fixed Improved Cylinder choke, giving the shooter tight patterns with standard 2 3/4-inch shells. A brass bead front sight provides a simple, rugged aiming point.
Franchi’s short-stroke gas system uses a unique two-piece piston designed specifically for the LAW-12, ensuring reliable cycling while keeping recoil manageable. The cylindrical charging handle offers quick manipulation for clearing or loading.
The matte-black polymer furniture features an integral pistol grip and a ventilated fore-end for secure handling. With a 13.25-inch length of pull, the shotgun balances compact dimensions with comfortable shouldering.
