The 26-inch 4140 chrome-moly barrel uses 5R rifling and a 1:9.375 RH twist to stabilize high-BC .338 Lapua projectiles. Factory threading (3/4-24) accepts the supplied two-port Ruger magnum brake or other muzzle devices.
A free-floating 18-inch aluminum M-LOK handguard with an integral 1.50-inch ARCA dovetail allows rapid tripod or barricade attachment while still providing full accessory real estate. A 20-MOA Picatinny rail is machined into the one-piece 7075-T6 receiver for straightforward scope mounting.
The folding aluminum/polymer stock adjusts for length of pull and comb height, folds for transport, and incorporates QD sling cups and a rubber buttpad. An oversize 5/16-24 threaded bolt knob and ambidextrous safety selector support fast manipulation and left- or right-handed use.
At an original MSRP of $2,599, the Ruger Precision Rifle Magnum remains among the most affordable factory-built .338 Lapua chassis rifles, delivering a balanced blend of precision features and budget consciousness.
