Launched in 2024, the third-generation P-09 C “Nocturne” brings CZ’s full-featured DA/SA hammer pistol into a compact, optics-ready format. This first-year example combines a 4-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel, low bore-axis slide-in-frame design, and the proven Omega trigger system with a direct-mount interface for Shield RMS-pattern micro-red-dot sights. A nitride-finished slide and glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame keep weight down while delivering durability buyers expect from CZ.

The optics-ready slide ships with a cover plate installed and accepts Shield RMS or Holosun-K footprint sights without an adapter, giving owners a straightforward path to a defensive red-dot setup. Front and rear cocking serrations offer confident manipulation, and luminescent three-dot sights provide low-light visibility out of the box.
CZ’s Omega DA/SA system delivers a smooth double-action pull and a crisp single-action break while allowing conversion between the included ambidextrous decocker and manual-safety levers. A reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed shooters, and the external rounded-spur hammer offers positive thumb purchase when staging the first shot.
The 4-inch carbon-steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged for longevity and treated with a nitride finish for corrosion resistance. Combined with the nitride slide and polymer frame, this P-09 C is built for hard use while remaining easy to carry thanks to its compact dimensions and interchangeable backstrap system.
CZ’s slide-in-frame architecture lowers the bore axis to mitigate muzzle flip, and full-length frame rails contribute to excellent mechanical lock-up. Proofed in the Czech Republic, this specimen bears the Czech lion and triangular “24” date code, marking it as a genuine, first-year Nocturne production.
