Built on German-licensed tooling, the Turkish-made MKE Z-5K brings authentic MP5K engineering to the U.S. market in a true roller-delayed blowback pistol. This compact 9mm features a 4.6-inch cold-hammer-forged CMV steel barrel with a 3-lug muzzle, welded claw-mount lugs on the receiver, and an ambidextrous safety selector. As one of the final foreign-made Z-5K pistols imported by Zenith before the 2022 shift to domestic production, it offers collectibility alongside proven design.

The Z-5K follows the original MP5K footprint, giving shooters a compact 9mm pistol that accepts standard MP5 accessories and suppressor mounts. The cold-hammer-forged barrel is chrome-moly-vanadium steel, delivering durability and consistent accuracy, while the 3-lug muzzle allows quick attachment of compatible suppressors or flash hiders.
Its stamped-steel receiver retains welded claw-mount lugs, so owners can add an optics rail without gunsmithing. The hooded front post and four-position rear diopter drum provide reliable iron sights for precise target acquisition out of the box.
An ambidextrous selector, knurled charging handle, and polymer end cap with sling swivel make the pistol practical for left- or right-handed users. Rails on the handguard offer space for lights or lasers, expanding setup options for range or defensive roles.
Because MKE ceased exporting Z-5K pistols after 2021, this example represents a limited import run, adding appeal for collectors seeking an authentic, overseas-produced MP5K variant.
