This Marine Corps Operator is built on a forged carbon-steel frame with an OD-green Armory Kote/Cerakote finish; the forged steel slide wears a matte-black finish and carries front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
The 5 inch match-grade stainless barrel, combined with a 1:16 RH twist, delivers tight tolerances and consistent accuracy. A full-length GI guide-rod recoil system further stabilizes the slide during cycling.
An integral three-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover allows quick attachment of lights or lasers. Low-profile Trijicon three-dot tritium sights—orange front, white-outlined rear—provide 24-hour visibility without snagging on gear.
Springfield’s factory 20-lpi “Octo-Grip” checkering on both the frontstrap and mainspring housing teams with checkered black composite grips to anchor the pistol securely in the hand. A skeletonized commander hammer, three-hole aluminum trigger, extended thumb safety, and beavertail grip safety round out the performance-oriented controls.
