The CDS9 uses a 7075-T6 aluminum frame with an integral three-slot 1913 rail, giving shooters a rugged mounting point for lights or lasers without adding weight. Kimber’s KimPro II finish resists corrosion and wear in daily carry.
A match-grade stainless steel barrel with 5R rifling and 1/2-28 threads supports suppressors or compensators. The factory rating of 10,000 rounds for the recoil spring underscores the pistol’s service-ready design.
The optic-cut slide accepts RMSc-pattern red-dot sights straight from the box. Fiber-optic TAG Precision front and serrated black rear sights offer a bright, uncluttered sight picture for shooters who prefer irons.
