Ruger SR1911 Stainless .45 ACP Series 70 Full-Size Semi-Auto Pistol, 2012 Production
The Ruger SR1911 is Ruger’s first entry into the classic 1911 platform, and this early-production 2012 example offers a clean, stainless steel build with Series 70 fire-control geometry. It retains its factory stainless finish and key Ruger enhancements—including a titanium firing pin and external inspection port—while wearing owner-installed grey/black G10 grip panels that add a modern, textured feel.

What’s Included
- Ruger SR1911 .45 ACP pistol
- One 8-round Ruger stainless magazine with extended polymer bumper
Ruger built the SR1911 around a matte stainless steel frame and slide, matching the traditional 5-inch stainless barrel for corrosion resistance and a uniform look. The slide carries laser-engraved Ruger phoenix branding and rear vertical cocking serrations for positive manipulation.
Series 70 internals provide the clean single-action trigger pull 1911 enthusiasts expect. Ruger enhances this with a skeletonized trigger featuring an over-travel stop, plus a lightweight Commander-style hammer for fast lock time.
The pistol comes factory-equipped with Novak-style three-dot sights set in dovetails. Both the grip safety and extended thumb safety are standard, maintaining the familiar 1911 manual of arms.
Grey/black layered G10 panels replace the original grips, offering aggressive texturing and visual contrast against the stainless frame. The integral plunger tube and titanium firing pin are Ruger design touches aimed at long-term durability.
