The Winchester Model 70 Ultimate Shadow pairs the famed action with a durable composite stock and a free-floating 24-inch barrel, giving hunters a reliable and lightweight rifle in the classic .270 Winchester chambering. Built in the FN Columbia, South Carolina facility after 2006, this version restores the pre-’64 style action while adding modern touches such as the user-adjustable MOA trigger and rubber overmolded grip panels.

The Ultimate Shadow stock is molded from lightweight composite and features rubber overmolded panels at the grip and fore-end for a secure hold in wet conditions. A soft recoil pad and right-hand palm swell add comfort during extended range sessions.
The three-position wing safety allows loading and unloading with the safety engaged while still locking the firing pin.
The 24-inch carbon-steel barrel is free-floated and finished with a recessed crown to help protect the rifling. A 1:10" right-hand twist stabilizes a wide range of .270 Win bullet weights. Engine-turned flutes on the bolt body reduce friction and add a touch of classic style.
The single-stage MOA trigger is factory set for a crisp pull and can be user-adjusted to suit individual preferences, making precise shots easier in the field. With the receiver drilled, tapped, and fitted with bases, the rifle is ready for the optic of your choice.
