Marlin Model 25MN .22 WMR Bolt-Action Rifle, 22" Barrel, 7-Shot, 1998 North Haven Production
Built in 1998 at Marlin’s North Haven, Connecticut plant, this Model 25MN is the magnum variant of the Model 25 series, chambered for the harder-hitting .22 WMR round. Pre-Remlin manufacture, a 22" Micro-Groove barrel, and integral 3/8" dovetail scope grooves combine to make this discontinued rifle a straightforward, American-made option for small-game hunting or rimfire collecting.

What’s Included
- Marlin Model 25MN .22 WMR bolt-action rifle
- One factory Marlin 7-round detachable steel magazine
The 22" carbon-steel barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling with a 1:16 right-hand twist, giving the .22 WMR cartridge solid accuracy while remaining easy to clean. Open sights include a hooded ramp front and an elevation-adjustable semi-buckhorn rear, ready for immediate use in the field.
An integral 3/8" dovetail along the receiver simplifies mounting rimfire optics without additional bases. Pair this with the detachable 7-round magazine and you have a versatile rimfire platform that transitions quickly between iron sights and glass.
The hardwood stock features a walnut-tone finish, Monte Carlo comb, pressed checkering, and factory sling swivel studs—practical touches that add comfortable cheek weld, secure grip, and carry options.
A two-position thumb safety, smooth bolt throw, and Marlin’s reputation for reliable feeding round out a rifle that was discontinued in 2003 yet remains sought after for its pre-Remlin build quality and magnum chambering.
