The heart of this build is Sig’s MPX short-stroke gas-piston operating system, a rarity among pistol-caliber carbines and valued for its clean-running reliability. The 16 inch cold-hammer-forged carbon-steel barrel is nitride treated for longevity and threaded, wearing a JW3-style muzzle brake that tames recoil and flash.
An aftermarket TTI-style flared mag-well speeds reloads, while the ambidextrous extended-latch charging handle provides fast, equal access from either shoulder. Magazine release, bolt catch, and selector lever are also ambidextrous, making this carbine fully left- or right-hand friendly.
The lightweight Lancer carbon-fiber M-LOK handguard free-floats the barrel and sheds ounces up front, giving the rifle quick handling. A continuous 12 o’clock Picatinny rail runs the full length of the receiver and handguard for easy optics and accessory placement.
At the fire-control group you’ll find a Timney match trigger that breaks cleanly, enhancing precision on target. A six-position collapsible stock sets length of pull between 14.25 inches and shorter positions for transport or body-armor use, while the Hogue-style rubber pistol grip improves purchase in any weather.
