Ruger GP100 3-Inch .357 Magnum Stainless Revolver – 2011 Production, Transfer-Bar Safety, Hogue Monogrip
This 2011 Ruger GP100 offers the proven strength of Ruger’s triple-locking, side-plate-less frame in a compact 3-inch package. Made from solid stainless steel and finished in satin, it combines durability with easy maintenance. The six-shot, counter-bored cylinder, full-lug ribbed barrel, and factory Hogue rubber Monogrip make this revolver a practical, shootable choice for defense or range use while retaining collector appeal thanks to its clean condition and short-run KGPF-331 catalog designation.

The 3-inch full-lug barrel balances the revolver for rapid target transitions while keeping overall length to just 8.5 inches. Ruger’s 1:18.75 right-hand twist stabilizes the full range of .357 Magnum and .38 Special bullets.
The GP100’s cylinder is triple-locked at the front, rear, and bottom, delivering rock-solid alignment under heavy magnum pressures. Chambers are counter-bored so cartridge rims sit flush with the rear face, adding strength and a refined look.
Made entirely of stainless steel, the frame, barrel, and cylinder resist corrosion and simplify cleaning. The side-plate-less design increases rigidity, and the satin stainless finish reduces glare without the need for coatings.
An exposed hammer supports both double-action and single-action fire, while Ruger’s transfer-bar mechanism blocks the firing pin until the trigger is fully rearward. Fixed sights consist of a pinned ramp front and an integral rear notch—rugged and snag-free for carry.
The one-piece grip frame accepts aftermarket panels, yet the factory-installed Hogue rubber Monogrip already provides excellent recoil control and a secure grasp.
