This Prodigy is built on a forged carbon-steel frame coated in matte black Cerakote for toughness and a unified look with the slide. The wrap-around Adaptive Grip Texture module locks the pistol into your hand and can be replaced if you prefer a different texture.
Springfield’s integral single-port compensator and ported, match-grade bull barrel work together to cut muzzle rise and keep sights flat. A toolless full-length guide rod simplifies fieldstripping after range sessions.
The slide features forward and rear cocking serrations, an AOS optics cut that retains the rear sight, and matching Cerakote finish. A tritium front blade and serrated black rear provide a fast, snag-free sight picture when no optic is installed.
An EGW ignition kit delivers a crisp, single-action break through the skeletonized three-hole trigger, while the ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety maintain the familiar 1911 manual of arms.
