Built in 1996, this Remington Model 700 BDL pairs the classic .270 Winchester chambering with the series’ high-gloss walnut and polished blue steel. The rifle carries Remington’s jeweled bolt, adjustable trigger, and the signature three-rings-of-steel receiver system that has made the Model 700 a benchmark for strength and accuracy. Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.

Specific Condition Notes: Mild wear and scratches are present. There is a scratch on the left side of the stock near the front of the pistol-grip checkering, and light wear on the bottom metal.
What’s Included
The 22" carbon-steel barrel wears a polished blue finish that matches the receiver and bottom metal, giving the rifle the traditional BDL appearance. A ramped post front sight and adjustable folding-leaf rear sight remain in place, and the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for quick optic installation.
The high-gloss American walnut stock features a Monte Carlo comb, cheek-piece, contrasting fore-end tip, white-line spacers, and cut skip-line checkering for secure grip. Sling swivel studs are factory installed, and the metal butt-plate carries the Remington crest.
Internally, the jeweled bolt and three-rings-of-steel design provide strong, consistent lock-up. The single-stage trigger is user-adjustable, and the hinged floor-plate magazine holds four rounds with an inside-bow release lever for safe, convenient unloading.
Barrel date code “AQ” confirms 1996 production, placing this rifle in the later years of the sought-after polished blue/high-gloss BDL era. Overall, it represents a well-preserved, ready-to-shoot example of Remington’s flagship sporting rifle.
