The 10.5-inch carbon-steel barrel is medium-contour, spiral-fluted, and factory threaded 5/8-24. The installed multi-port muzzle brake tames muzzle rise, while the 1:8 RH twist optimizes performance across popular .300 BLK bullet weights.
Its left-hand bolt with right-side ejection pairs with a spiral-fluted bolt body for smooth cycling and reduced fouling accumulation. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger (2.5–6 lb) lets the shooter fine-tune pull weight without gunsmithing.
The MDT LSS aluminum chassis features a 7-inch free-float M-LOK fore-end for accessory placement. A Nightstrike Sidewinder vertical grip comes pre-installed for enhanced control, and the platform accepts standard AR-pattern pistol grips for easy customization.
